Apple & Cinnamon Overnight Oats


  • 1/2 Cup (45g) of Gluten Free Oats
  • 1 Apple
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 100ml of Almond Milk, Unsweetened
  • Optional: Walnuts, Extra Cinnamon

Overnight oats are one of the most convenient grab and go breakfasts. This gorgeous apple and cinnamon flavour is ideal for busy autumn mornings- cosy, comforting and so simple. They only take a minute to prepare so you can make them the night before, roll out of bed and grab them as you head out the door!


Add the oats and cinnamon to a large bowl and stir to combine.

Grate the apple in on top and mix it all together.

Pour in the almond milk and stir well.

Transfer the mixture to your jar or container and leave to soak overnight (or minimum 3 hours).

Top with toasted walnuts and a little extra cinnamon before eating.

    This recipe sounds delicious! Have you ever tried cooking it on low in a slow cooker/crockpot overnight for a heated version for those colder winter mornings? I am thinking of trying it but was wondering if it might need more liquid to cook it this way? :)

      I haven’t tried cooking it over night but I suspect you would need more liquid. I would test it out during the day so you can keep an eye on it and then give it a go at night! Hope it works out for you x

    Quick oats or rolled oats? And you don’t have to cook them? You just eat them cold in the morning? I’m fascinated by this concept! Lol. I MUST try them! :)
