Hummus Two Ways

Hummus 6
Ingredients

For Plain Hummus:

  • 240g of Soaked Chickpeas
  • 2 Tablespoons of Tahini
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • Coarse Salt

For Sun-dried Tomato Hummus:

  • 240g of Soaked Chickpeas
  • 2 Tablespoons of Tahini
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • Approx 8 Sun Dried Tomatoes + 3 Tablespoons of Their Oil
  • Coarse Salt

This is my fool proof way to make hummus, two ways- good old regular and with a sundried tomato boost.¬†Nothing beats home made and this is so easy there’s no excuse to buy it from the shop!

Hummus 3

Drain the chickpeas and add them to your food processor with the tahini, garlic, lemon juice and a good pinch of coarse salt and pepper. If you are adding sundried tomatoes, add them in now too. Blend on high until smooth.

While blending, gradually pour in the oil.
